Issue 583 of the Amazing Spiderman comes out and Barack Obama is featured in it. It's your basic story line villains/terrorist threaten the life of the President Elect (well president now) and Spidey comes and saves the day through wit and force.As you can see a lot of people lined up to get their hands on a copy. I'm not going to even comment on the line.
To me this issue sends a message one that may require a little debunking. Put the present day President on the cover of a comic book and you turn him into a superhero. That's pretty much what America needs right now with the way things are going economically. There is civil unrest and only Spidey and Barack can come save the day.
