NIKE SB April Releases

More Yummy SB's to cop. Truthfully I haven't copped a pair in a very very long time. Well this is what happens when you are unemployed. No flow, no go. Summer is peeking it's head around the corner and I haven't had an unemployed summer since 9th grade, so I'm bound to find job sooner or later. The April releases are banana's enough to get me off my ass and trying to find a job. The Dunk High's are definately one of the nicer one's in the release.

A New Umbrella

Rainy season is here! March and April brings the most precipitation in Calgary, although it is usually so cold it comes down as snow. It's Party time!

It's party time, and it is officially underway with the third installment of the BT BDAY BASH come and gone, and Long Tran celebrating his this Saturday!But how many times are we going to have to go to the clubs? How many times will we go to the same club? I remember last summer out of 8 consecutive birthday weeks 3 of them were at the now defunct Amsterdam Rhino (Iheard they play the YMCA now). Here at the FPOE we fully endorse throwing your very own house party. And if you're rager is big enough I know someone with a keg just sitting at home waiting to be used again. Mattapalooza 09 anyone? Well even if you don't need the keg there are 3 simple rules to follow.:

1 Week Paid Vacation

I like to blog, but being the only author on here for a year who has consistently posted, it's been taxing on myself. I think I have been putting on too much pressure on myself to deliver on what's out there and what's fly. I guess I kind of lost sight of what I liked about blogging, it wasn't about my readers, and as much as I loved them all I blogged for myself not really caring who read it, so after a week off I am back....for now.

So I know I didn't update at all Fri-Sun. I been busy, and my computer was a little wonky and wouldn't let me do the updates I wanted.

Nike SB Gucci

Back in 06 when I was heavily getting into shoes, researching and reading about it 24/7 I came across this pair of Gucci inspired NIKE SB DUNK HIGH PRO'S. When I thought to myself, why are they so damn expensive? 2600$ consignment listing on Flight Club NY. It wasn't until a little later I found out these shoes were samples and only 30 exist in the world. These shoes were scrapped and never released to the public. Now it's 2009 and Nike has decided to release these bad boys as a quickstrike, don't know what that would do to prices out there, but I don't think they'll see a significant drop. A lot of heads have been waiting for these and have given up on them, well....the hype starts again!

NIKE SB STEFAN JANOSKI

I had a conversation with Marleezy on Friday about how I wish I owned more shoes than just sneakers. I wish I diversified my purchases. Don't get me wrong I think there are a lot of sick shoes that don't come out of the Nike camp, but most of the shoes I own and rock are just sneakers. And sometimes I would like a break from wearing sneakers, but can't because I hardly own any other kinds of shoes. This is where the Stefan Janoski signature shoe steps in. It's still Nike (not that the shoe has to be Nike for me to wear it) and it is a boat shoe, but still feels like a sneaker. The perfect compromise. I'll be looking to cop ( as soon as the tax refund comes in or I get a job).

Verbal is too sick. I once saw a vid on youtube with him wearing the ring, it was probably the first season ring cause it looked nothing like this and it was back in 06. Ill up the vid at the end of this post I guess. I like the pendant more so than the ring cause as a pendant it's a little less in your face. Could you imagine a huge pow coming right across your hand? I debate with myself if it is something that could be worn during a stroll through downtown or up 17th - I'm talking about the ring - I do however see the ring as something a little easier to pull of.

Could you imagine after a fight you got a bunch of "pow" marks all over your face? It's like an old school Batman beatdown.

Air Yeezy - OH EFF YA

FINALLY.

just a little over a year now, I have been talking about these, wondering if they'll ever drop.

I must admit though after putting my thoughts on the YEEZY'S to the back of my mind their allure has waned somewhat. But since finding out yesterday that these specific one's are dropping April 09; the hype is building up again. You can just sense it over the net and in forums. I cannot wait for them to drop. It's only a month away now. And the rest will follow in May and June.

All I can say is FINALLY! The Yeezy's are dropping. And we all though these shoes would never come out, but here they are. And I am ready to get my hands on em. 1 to rock 1 to stock haha.

Boo turns ONE!

I went to visit Brooklyn on Tuesday, which was her real birthday, but unfortunately caught her when she was almost asleep. But as usual when Boo has visitors, she quickly jumped up and smiled. (Can you see her teeth growing in?) Apparently, her hair WAS fixed but in this picture, she has bedhead haha. I believe FPOE stopped by earlier and had the chance to see her haircut when it was all done up and cute. Time totally flies, I can't believe she's already a year old and she's running, not walking, but RUNNING around!

On Air Wrist Watch

Turkish designer Iskender Asanaliev, has outdone himself this time. The On Air wristwatch is nothing short of extraordinary. The design is very streamline and polished, and has a very futuristic aesthetic.

The design is very clever as well. As you can see there is only one hand on the face of the watch. But the hands tell the minutes while it's poisition of course tells the hour.

According to the watch it's about 2:25. According to me, ON AIR is certrified fresh.

Being Unemployed Sucks

When you're unemployed and you see jackets like this the only thing you want to do is get a job. I WANT A JOB SO BAD! I think it's time I get on the grind again and start piecing my fiscal situation back together. The jackets are all hype and all from Orisue. So sad I am that I cannot get these jackets RIGHT NOW!

• Went to Group7, might be able to get a job....potentially. Scott's a chillin guy.
• Went to Worth, very interesting store. VERY DOPE SHIT! Mr. Abad is a very rad dude, look for a post on the place soon.
• Went to The Gallery, Aaron Ellard, nice guy....I never introduced myself cause I am shy. LOL
• Met up with BRR BRR BRR BRRAAAYYYMOOOND ( I was with Marlo) we went to Tubby Dog, and Crave (to look for shirts)
• Took random pics around the city
• CAME HOME AND CRASHED!
• Woke up to the most delicious dinner, lemme break it down. Porkchops. Mixed Veggies. Home Roasted Chicken. Homemade Gravy. And Rice.
