An FPOE's Movie

Sometimes watching a movie on the big screen becomes more than watching a movie. Just like sometimes a TV show is more than a TV show. Sometimes getting lost in a story is not about the story itself but the characters within the story. How many times do you find yourself watching a movie or TV show and think to yourself; "Damn that guy is cool." That's when you know the movie you're watching or the show you're watching is something worth watching. I remember the first time I saw "Lucky Number Slevin" Josh Hartnett played the title character and he brought something to the character which transcended the big screen and spilt over into the audience. Slevin was a kind of don't give a f*ck, mad clever witty guy. He was funny and charismatic and there was just something about him that drew you to the character. I love movies when I walk out feeling cool as a mutha. It's almost like you feel invincible coming out of a movie. And that's what the experience should be like. When you go into a movie and walk out feelin yourself, well that's just gravy.
