Not gonna lie, I'm really feelin this joint. I guess when you can't rap just sing. Funny, I always thought it was the other way around. Doesn't hurt that the Kid can sing though. Who knew.

Just Wow

I've known Saigon was nice since the Drama Hour Freestyle he did with Kay Slay back in 03. But he never built enough buzz to really stay steady in my playlists. I liked cass since drop, and by that I mean the infamous battle he had with Freeway. Knew cats were nice, but neither really spit nothing that get's me bumpin em constantly. I feel the winds of change a blowing.

Tip Toe Round Creepin

So like J stated earlier and I sorta touched on before, Fall is coming around the corner. I personally love fall it isn't too hot, nor is it too cold. It's the proper temperature to wear sweaters and long sleeves. And if you know me, then you know I love to wear jackets and such. So I present to you, Cycle's fall offering. Or at least a small part of what's to come fall 08. Of course it goes without saying I am really digging the simplicity of the garments. The long sleeve looks great cause the stripes really bring it to life. What really strikes me is the sweater, the neck of the hood is what really catches my eye. The excess fabric really make the piece something else. It almost reminds me of those JL sweaters all those douchebag drug dealers were that were so popular a couple years ago. Or if you know what I'm talking about, a monk when his hood is down.

HOME ALONE!

The following is the result of what happens when people go on vacation. When people go on vacation and leave me behind. This is what happens when you're home alone for a week, recently unemployed because your job get's outsourced to India, school is still out and you're friends are living life on out of the country. I got really bored and I got really really messy. You can see fitteds everywhere jackets, sweaters and jeans littered all over the room. I tried to clean it all up but it took a good 5 days to get my room back in order. And as I sit and write this right now it is shaping up to be another great disaster. If I wanted I could really just throw my stuff all over the place and just do this all over again to pass the time because again this week people have left for another mini vacay. God, I was lazy this summer. I wanted one summer where I went nowhere and I got my wish. I don't regret not going anywhere I just wish I had some people to still chill with while I was home doing nothing.

Sure it's meant for skateboards, and a lot of us/you don't skate. Or do it so casually that a skate bag would be of no use. But it would make a great ready bag to keep stocked or to pack quickly when you something comes up and you'll be out of the house for a day or two. With different compartments for your shirts and shoes and misc. toiletries you can't go wrong. And of course instead of packing your decks up you can always load up some socks and pants there. I'm really feelin' the bag and I don't skate enough to use it for it's true purpose, but I think it could be something useful...just gotta think outta the box.

History has been made. 8 events. 8 Golds. 8 World records. I know I am kind of late on this post but lately I just haven't been signing into my blogger, on the account that I now longer have steady job haha. But it is alright. I'm back because there is nothing to do during the week.

But I digress, the 8 golds came with their fair share of dramatics. Jason Lezaks come from behind victory in the 2oom relay. As well as the one one-hundreth of a second come fomr behind victory for Phelps in the 100m fly. It was a roller coaster ride and I am glad to have been there to see it all.

Rocksmith has just released samples of a sexy new windbreakers ready for drop. A part of the Fall 08 line look for these to start hitting shelves at the end of August.

I'm really feeling neutrals right now and not just cause Fall is right around the corner. The big in your face neon movement is done and tired. Right now it's all about using a little punch to be a standout knockout. And these pieces play right into that. A nice deep subtle purple to give it some whalloping power in a baby's fist.

Whaddup! Another event and another gold. That puts Phelps at five. Which puts his total at 11. 11 gold medals for this Olympian which is now eclipsing Spitz and Carl Lewis who both only had 9 in their respective Olympics.

The US Relay team won the 4 by 200m freestyle with relative ease in of course world record time.

200m fly. Another win, another gold, another world record. Can't say it enough; he's the most dominant olympian to every compete in the games.

So I woke this morning and though (thought) to myself should I go to the grocery store cause the bread is low?

So as most of you may or may not know I can be random guy with sporadic thoughts that make no sense at all nor contain any relevance pertaining to the subject at hand. So with that said you can sometimes see that reflected in my blog. STAY GOLDEN PONYBOY!

I am also a big pop culture whore and make obscure references to it throughout a conversation and blog entry. Most times it's looked upon with strange expressions cause they're usually so obscure nobody knows what I am talking about. OH WELL!

So I guess this is just a random post I felt like putting up. I'm not editing or reworking what I am typing. Whatever pops into my head I just right it. That's all there is to this post. I also like having a picture in the post so it doesn't look so plain and boring. I don't really know what kind of picture I can find that really associates with Random....maybe Ill just put a random unrelated pictures. That would further solidify my point but only the craftiest of minds would have picked that up without any explanation.

Michael Cera has a new movie with that Cat Jennings girl or whatever her name is from Charlie Bartlett. I'm excited to see it. It looks pretty decent even if it is a love story. Love stories sucks. The piano piece Love Story doesn't suck. It's so majestic to play. Oh ya the movie is called someone and somebody's infinite playlist. It looks hilarious.

Speaking of love there's only one kind of true love out there. And that's Zombie killing love. If you love someone, and I mean REALLY love someone you would kill them if they became a zombie. That's love. I'll elaborate more on that later I suppose.

Jason Lezak is the man of the hour. Two golds now for Michael Phelps in what were supposed to be his two toughest events. The US 4 by 100m relay team smashed the world record by four seconds and beat France by .08 seconds. Now those are numbers.

Nike Hyperdunk - Infrared

When you say Hyperdunk you make a statement. When you say Infrared you make a statement. So when you say Infrared Hyperdunk you make quite a big statement. And truthfully upon looking at these samples I can't help but feel a little let down. Ya the infrared is cool and all but these just look so plain jane. If it were me I woulda made a black swoosh with infrared accents to really contrast and bring out the infrared. But that's just me. Personally I'd still cop but I feel really let down about these.

It's a lot more functional however you can't order the shoes to be made. At least I am not aware that you can. But the editor is a lot of fun and it isn't just colors and text. Different fabrics and designs and patterns. Mainly for shits and giggles but whatever it's loads fun.

Here it is ladies and gentleman. The highly anticipated. Highly picketed. Highly opposed. Summer Olympics of 2008. It's going to be a very very exciting event. Here is why. Michael Phelps is slated to dominate the hydro once more this go around.
This go around Phelps currently holds 25 world records and last Olympics in Athens medaled in 8 events. And walked away with 6 gold and that ties him for an Olympic record as well. Personally I am set on him breaking his own Olympic and world records this year and I am sure it's going to be exciting. Swimming is one of my favorite events because I myself used to swim competitively, I was quite good too. If I stuck with it who knows may I'd be in a lane by Phelps this year. Too bad we'll never know.

Now if Phelps' domination isn't enough to convince you then let me introduce you to the Re-deem team. That's right TEAM USA basketball is back and they mean business this go around. They may be a small team but they're chalked with superstars, superstars who can play some real team ball. Kobe, Lebron, Dwyane, D12 and company all have their work cut out for them. But seriously this team has shown some early signs of powerhouse contendership. Except for the latest game against Australia. They may not be shoe-ins but they are heavily favored. They're not the dream team either but then again...who is.

On the Canadian front we have world class runner Perdita Felicien, and if you remember her from the last Olympics; she was favored to dominate hurdles. She became a household name when she raced in the 100m hurdles and was a shoe-in to win and tripped over the first hurdle. PSYCHE! To save her the emberassment this year Perdita won't be participating in the Olympics due to a foot Injury. And Canada didn't qualify in Basketball. Soooo GO USA GO! How tragic. We really aren't a 2 Olympic nation. Save face Canada, focus on Vancouver 2010.

Jason Mark at Jasonmark.com has an amazing new shew cleaning kit for you heads. I mean the box it comes in is reason enough to buy the cleaner. However a bonus is that this shit actually works. Sure you gotta put in the elbow grease but the formula is 98.3% all natural (haha) and completely biodegradable. No chemicals and no abrasives; it'll even work on nubuck. But I would try it on suede and nubuck with some air of caution.

The product is a definate must. Oh and if you want to get rid of yellowing on soles, use boat cleaner.

Nike SB Fitted Caps

I'm really only all for solid colors on fitteds, with a simple design or logo on it. But for some reason I can't help but feel a reluctant attraction to these Nike SB sb fitted. Plaid is the new black. Al Borland would be proud.

This is how to properly do metallic. Metallic material is one of those things where less is more. A little just goes a long long long long way. That goes the same for Patent leather. You only need that much patent leather or metallic on your shoe for 2 reasons. One, you're vain and need to see your reflection on the constant. Two, you're a pervert and want to look up girls skirts. I'm the latter; though you'll see me with a mirror on my shoe before you catch me in all metallic. This neutral grey/silver/white colorways provides a nice muted tone. However the metallic silver delivers a subtle punch of flava (YEE BOIE!). Hey Marlo if you ever read this....this shoe was made for you.

Ps: As always the different textures provide a treat for your touch as well as your eyes.
