The Air Yeezy dropped today, and since there's nowhere to camp out for them here in Calgary, well I am going to have to find these online. Hopefully resale won't kill my already dwindling wallet, retail was already probably hella. PYS has no line on these yet, gotta keep my ear open and eyes peeled. We've all been hearing the hype around this line. It's supposed to be bananas. I like LV I'd fuck with it, if I ever felt the need to forgo practicality in its entirety and indulge.

I digress, the shoes are a nice monochromatic crimson. Very subtle with the LV on the tongue and the monogram on the sole. If it weren't so monochromatic I would fucks with these, and if it wasn't priced so ridcolously. They come in a beige as well. No official word on price yet.

I'm surprised I got the jump on these; I guess my competition isn't as big as I thought.

PARIS — Marc Jacobs and the Louis Vuitton men’s studio director Paul Helbers have some design competition this season. Kanye West, who was sitting front row at the Vuitton show, has designed a line of five LV sneakers. Only one design, above, was featured in the show — a monochromatic midtop with no frills, save for a quilted flap in the back, all the easier to tuck pants into. “The inspiration came from a jacket with a huge collar in the movie ‘Dune,’ ” West says. “Most sneakers focus on the tongue, so I wanted to do something different.” West knows whereof he speaks: he says he has no idea how many shoes he owns, but he does know that he routinely needs to send shipments off to storage. The LV-meets-Kanye kicks will be available at Louis Vuitton stores in June.

Beware the free goodie bag...Well Muthafucka it wasn't free. I forked 350$ over to sit on the floor, get a backstage tour and a pre-party and there was supposed to be a goodie bag included.

Pastelle: A rare glimpse

In case you never knew about Pastelle, Kanye West's joint venture clothing line with Kim Jones who is helping him with the designs. Truthfully I like the sweater, it is very space aged. But what I like about it is that it is a full zip that has an urban appeal to it. It's something you feel that you can just as easily dress up while mainting a casual feel. But what I don't like it is that it is a full zip, everyone needs a nice full zip (the way the hood hangs on a full zip is a look you can't get with regular hoodies) but there's just too many. It's becoming the in thing to do, and nobody wants to be in anymore.

*Note: The contrast in colors, the white and grays, and the splash of color in the hood. As well as the different materials used in the composition. It's a treat for the eyes as well as the hands.
