The Golden rectangle shelf. I mean I don't know why nobody has ever thought of this before now. Or maybe they have and this is just hte first time it's hit the blogosphere. For those who don't know this shelf makes use of Phi and the golden ratio (1.161 roughly). The ratio is everywhere and is quite a phenomena, for example measure your arm and then divide it by the length of your forearm and you get 1.61.
