The Prince is Now the King

The original Fresh Prince has grown up and become the King of the Land. From winning grammy's as a younger man to being a part of the exclusive 20 mil per film club. Willard Smith Jr. has accomplished everything imaginable. Only a handful of his movies haven't made at least 100 million USD domestically; and only one real flop of a movie. He went from Parents Just Don't Understand, to The Fresh Prince of Bel Air, to becoming the most recognisable and most bankable international movie star; oh and he can act too. Personally I think he needs to step away from all the emotional drama and back to what he does best, sci fi. I can do with a 3rd Men In Black or another I Robot. Will Smith has solidified himself as one of my idols. He's conquered all mediums of entertainment garnered huge critical and commercial success and Jada is a beautiful woman.

But allow me to get my Urban Gent on (Urban Gent Blog) and just talk about what he's wearing here. We all remember his Fresh Prince days and a lot of what he did back then is a la mode right now. But to see him in this suit is a whole other story. This suit right here reminds me of Gregory Peck in The Man in the Grey Flannel Suit; and everyone knows that Gregory Peck is a real mans man. (Almost) Everything about what he did here is right. The pant length is the correct length his tie is tied at the right length and though basic his shirt-tie-jacket combo resonates a very elegant but not too try hard feel. It brings attention to his upperbody without being over the top and boisterous, it's the good kind of attention. Andre Benjamin once told GQ that you should have one thing in your outfit that stands out, and on Will it's that french cuff. It just ups the elegance factor by 1000 yet it's very subtle. They only thing I wish here was that he showed just a smidge more cuff.

I saw this picture and thought to myself, well he's done so much and been so succesful and the blog name is obviously based off of him. Why isn't he in the blog?

Will Smith, 20 mil per film, grammy award winner, producer, icon, Tv Star, family man. He's done it all.
